Why should I book T-Junction Wedding Band?
All we can say is that we love what we do, so much so that this passion translates to our live performance as evidenced by our Live Stage Videos. We are a full-time band and after twelve years together, we consider ourselves to be experts in wedding entertainment. What we always remember is that this is YOUR big day, and we work hard to ensure that your guests are highly impressed with our performance by sticking to our number one rule: "play to your audience". Your guests may forget if the potatoes were cold, but they will always remember how great T-Junction were.
Will your equipment fit into my venue?
Yes. Our state of the art sound and light show can be scaled up or down according to requirements. We have played in a wide range of locations, from small and intimate such as the Roman Camp in Callander up to larger venues, eg. Cameron House in Loch Lomond.
When will the band arrive?
For a typical 8pm start, the band will arrive at 6:45pm. We will then set up our equipment while the hotel is turning the room around for the evening reception - this process tends to go unnoticed by you and your guests as you will usually be asked by the venue co-ordinator to retire to a separate area for drinks after your meal.
How long will you play?
The band will perform over a four-hour block (usually 8-12), although we are flexible to your requirements. The band will break only once for the buffet, and this is typically 30 minutes. Any additional time outwith the four hours can be costed.
Do you play music during your break?
Yes, of course. Appropriate music will be played before the first waltz and during the buffet break,
cutting out the cost of hiring additional entertainment such as DJs, discos, etc. If you have something special in mind, this can be accomodated by prior arrangement.
Can I choose a first song which is not on your set list?
Yes, this is usually not a problem. However, if the track you choose is very personal to you and quite obscure, we will be happy to source the track and play it for you.
How will you bring my evening to a close?
Our finale is second to none. At the end of your evening we will ask your guests to come together, circling the dance floor around the bride and groom, to give thanks for a wonderful day while the band perform a finale (examples include Runrig's Loch Lomond, (I've Had) The Time Of My Life (Theme from "Dirty Dancing"), Auld Lang Syne) in celebration of your marriage.
What will the band wear?
Presentation is everything. Formal dress only and the girls will take advantage of the buffet break to change their outfits, ready for the second half.
Do the band need a room to get changed?
Yes. This is very important to us as we have two female singers who want to look their best for you and your guests.
Will the band require a meal?
No. The band are there to work, not to eat! However, if having travelled a long distance to a venue, we may be partial to a snack, only after your guests have been catered for.
Will you be able to reach my venue in bad weather conditions?
Definitely. The band have modern, reliable 4x4 transport and have never missed a wedding in twelve years.
Do you have any special offers?
We offer a mid-week discount for weddings Monday to Thursday, provided your venue is within an hour's travelling time. For long distance venues, POA.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. As a full-time professional band and members of the Musician's Union we are fully insured for public liability and all of our equipment is PAT-tested annually.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
A small deposit (taken from your final balance) wil secure your date in the band's diary. This can be paid by cheque or through PayPal, and once received an e-receipt will be sent confirming all booking details.
Do you issue a contract?
Written contracts are available on request, in accordance with Musician's Union rules.
